Bountifield is a postharvest technology and agribusiness specialist organization, serving smallholder farmers and rural entrepreneurs in Africa. ECI-Africa was engaged by Bountifield International as the fund’s manager on its behalf to provide technical and administrative support towards the partnership project to accelerate their vision implementation. ECI-Africa is providing project support as agreed upon by the team, such as training design, facilitation and office space
Partnership Project to Accelerate Implementation of the African Union-Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (AUC-CAADP) Business Plan (2017-2021)
ECI-Africa was engaged by AGRA as the fund’s manager on behalf of the East African Community (EAC) to provide technical and administrative support towards the partnership project to Accelerate implementation of the African Union-Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (AUC-CAADP) Business Plan (2017-2021). We provided the following services under this engagement: received and managed the project funds; contracted consultants; provided technical advice and support on project implementation; designed, facilitated and documented key meetings; and offered meeting logistics and administrative support.
McKnight Foundation Collaborative Crop Research Program (CCRP) Technical Support
The services provided by ECI-Africa under this project included expert facilitation and documentation services for the Collaborative Crop Research Program (CCRP) leadership team meetings, and the South African (SAf) and Eastern Africa (EAf) Community of Practice (CoP) meetings. ECI-Africa worked closely with the regional team of the CCRP Eastern Africa CoP to manage regional funds and sub-contracts, as well as execute advance logistics/preparations related to the key meetings. We provided technical assistance in the identification of needs in the region and dispersed funds to projects as determined by McKnight Foundation.
